Tranilamp

Tranilamp was founded in 1963 manufacturing and marketing control panel transformer lamps.The transformer enabled low voltage filament lamps to be supplied from higher control voltages with the benefit of extended lamp life through a small under voltage. It has been adopted worldwide and to many design engineers the name Tranilamp is synonymous with transformer lamps.In the 21st Century, the transformer lamp remains a major product of the Company, but the range of products has been greatly extended to include many other kinds of indicator lamps, LED clusters bulbs, pushbutton switches, rotary switches and transformers.The Company moved to larger premises in Bury St Edmunds, UK to enable growth with further products and new markets.
